Meet the Board

Charlie M. Holiday-Wilson

Charlie M. Holiday-Wilson Ms. is the CEO/Founder of 1 on 1 Personal Development, INC a 501c3 nonprofit that provides academic, career, individual, group, and family counseling, referrals, and alternative programs that focus on reducing recidivism, intervention, and prevention of Juvenile delinquency and Family Reunification. Since 2011 she has been providing services to residents within the United States Penitentiary of Atlanta, Whitworth, and Arrendale Women’s facilities and Chaplaincy services at Clayton County Transition Center. 2018-2019 she volunteered at Redan High School for at-risk students, facilitating a cool-down room for ISS, mentoring, conflict resolutions, and anger management.

Ms. Holiday-Wilson is a community advocate and co-founder of 4 DeKalb Citizens United and the Hiawatha Community Neighborhood Watch and The Savvy Six Authors. She has served as a board member for Family Unification Network Org and Gilgal.Org, Ms. Holiday-Wilson currently serves on the DeKalb DCS Reentry Steering Committee.

Ms. Holiday-Wilson attended New Orleans Baptist Theology Seminary. She is an active member of the National Association of Christian Ministers. In 2014 she was licensed and ordained as a Minister at Second Mount Vernon Baptist Church. In 2021, she became the Pastor of Second Mount Vernon Baptist Church Congregational Care. 2016-2018 she received her certification from the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse as a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES), State of Georgia Certifications as a Healing Community trainer, and I Choose Mentor Trainer.

Awards/Recognition: 1 on 1 Personal Development, INC, was a 2018 Non-Profit Awards Finalist. And she received a Proclamation from the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners for her community work.

Diane Turner

Board member since 2019 She is a member of the Sonshine Ministry, Her hobbies are preparing beautiful works of art such as decorative glasses, gift baskets, flowers etc. 

Adreine Hinton

Board member since 2019. She is a member of M.I.A. and Feed My Sheep. Her hobbies are reading, crossword puzzles and shopping.

Sandy Sewell

Sandy Sewell has been a member of 1 on 1 Personal Development since December 2017. She has served as a chaplain at the Clayton County Transition Center. She is an ordained Elder and currently teaches zoomba classes. She is a resident of Mcdonough Georgia.

Karen Gilmore

A Native New Orleanian, I relocated to Georgia and made Atlanta my home in 2006 as a result of Hurricane Katrina. My husband and I were married for 42 years before his death. We were blessed with three children and nine grandchildren. I graduated from George Washington Carver Senior High School, briefly attended Southern University, New Orleans campus.
The majority of my administrative career was in non-profit. I worked ten years with the New Orleans Urban League, twenty-five years with the Jewish Children’s Regional Service and seven years with the Clayton County 4-H organization. I was employed for a brief time as a secretary in the New Orleans Criminal Court system. I am currently retired and enjoy working closely with numerous church and family activities. I am excited and look forward to the growth of 1 on 1 Personal Development.

MARY MITCHELL

MARY Mitchell  is an articulate and personable customer service professional who identifies customer needs and presents appropriate company products and services offering positive solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Thrives in busy, collaborative work environments requiring processing large volumes of transactions. Earns customer trust and provides exceptional follow-up leading to increased customer satisfaction, repeat business and referrals. Expertise in resolving escalated customer service issues. Mr. William Smith

Current Engagements and Interests:

William is currently the CEO/Broker of Top of the Line Realty, Inc.  He sells real estate throughout Georgia and several other states.  He is an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, dependable, and trustworthy individual ready to provide exemplary services in any capacity.  Such as these, propels the success of Top of the Line Realty, Inc.   

William has served as the coordinator of “Angle Tree” efforts for more than 25 years.  This munificent group of selfless, exemplary individuals supplies toys, clothes and educational items to children in need as identified by  (DFAC).  His unique ability for drawing out donor customers and putting them at ease has proven over the years to make this non-profit, charitable organization a blessing to so many children throughout the Atlanta and metro areas. 

Work Experience:

William Smith is an Information Technology (IT) aficionado.  He has more than thirty years of priceless knowledge and exposure in this industry. His invaluable experiences have been hard earned through servitude in capacities such as Business Process Analyst/Project Manager; Information Technology Analyst/Help Desk Supervisor; Programmer; and Computer Operator to name a few.  His professional career in Information Technology now rests in retirement after these thirty years of service with the City of Atlanta.   

William’s experiences in information technology, management, training, customer service, and inventory management may prove beneficial and very valuable to the success and longevity of any organization with which he chooses to be affiliated.   

Education:

William Smith is a graduate of Morehouse College.  He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with a major concentration in Psychology, and a minor concentration in Sociology.  He continued his formal education at Clark Atlanta University, and received a Master’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a major concentration in Management.  Both of these institutions of higher learning are located in Atlanta, Georgia.
